About Us

Nonington Farms Ltd is a regenerative farm employing agricultural practices that are sympathetic to the environment it is situated in. Following the guiding principles of Grow Learn and Protect, we aim to grow healthy, nutritious food that is then sold locally through our stoneground mill or vending machine; to protect the farmed environment the food is grown on and in; and to share this work with others, using the farm as a classroom for all.  

We love to show people around the farm and engage with the wider public about regenerative farming processes, giving them a chance to understand more about the nature of our work. We also use the farm as a classroom, trialling many different things on it across the course of each year. Nonington Farms attracts thousands of visitors each year to the farm, as we are very keen on learning visits for all sorts of ages, groups and subjects. These range from nurseries and schools (primary and secondary) to universities (undergrad and postgrad alike), professional to amateur groups and anything in between. 

We have been doing regenerative farming for many years, are one of only a few LEAF Demonstration Farms in the country, and therefore are often asked to speak about farming in the public sphere. 

Nonington Farms also offers a bespoke consultancy service for farmers and landowners wishing to adopt this type of farming practice in to their own farms.
